Job summary

Core-Mark, located in Hayward, CA, seeks a Training & Safety Supervisor to develop and administer environmental, fleet safety and occupational health and safety programs, ensuring legal compliance and a safe work environment. The role includes security, disaster preparedness, and managing related claims.

The position coordinates with OpCo leaders, conducts inspections, and leads incident investigations, with a focus on maintaining OSHA/QA standards and supporting regulatory initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience.
• 2+ years experience coordinating and/or managing health and safety compliance.
• Current Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act
• Intermediate computer skills to include MS Office Suite and Outlook

Responsibilities

• Administer safety programs and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate/lead incident investigations with root-cause analyses.
• Ride-along with route drivers to observe safety practices.
• Maintain safety and food safety/QA documentation.
• Support inspections and audits by regulatory agencies.
• Track loss trends and manage corrective actions.
