Job summary

Deckers Brands is seeking a Safety/Training Coordinator for its Distribution Facilities in California. This role reports to the Manager of Loss Prevention, Safety and Training and collaborates with leadership and on-site temp agencies to champion safety initiatives.

The position requires 3+ years in safety/training, OSHA 10/30 and First Aid/CPR/AED certifications, and proficiency with MS Office, including Excel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in safety and training or related field.
• Experience with MS Office Suite, including Excel.
• Strong communication skills in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and enforce OSHA standards and safety programs.
• Lead safety training and onboarding for new hires and PIT operators.
• Conduct safety inspections, investigations and reporting to prevent incidents.
• Coordinate with on-site temp agency safety team and recruiters/trainers.
• Ensure PIT training and operator competency for safe operation.
