Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, organizational security management, cybersecurity, IT, MIS or related field from an accredited institution.
• At least five years within the last eight years of experience in the file related to the title with at least three years in a supervisory capacity.
• Ability to work at a technical level with minimal supervision.
• Ability to prepare comprehensive, easily understood reports.
• Computer skills as required for the position.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff as assigned in the performance of job duties.
• Direct, coordinate and implement organization wide processes related to risk assessment and prevention, preparing for, managing, and recovering from adverse events or incidents in the District.
• Manage project status, risks, and issues, providing both verbal and written communications to all stakeholders.
• Collaborate with IT management teams in developing long- and short-range IT Safety plans.
• Manage budgets, personnel, and external vendors to accomplish projects and achieve success.
