Job summary

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or satisfactory completion of an approved GED
• A minimum of six (6) years of experience in supporting computer systems related to digital learning environments
• An earned associate degree from an accredited institution with at least four (4) years of related experience
• Proficiency in basic hardware and software, Windows, Mac, and iOS operating environments
• Installing and maintaining software and managing networked computer systems including Virtual and Local Area networks
• Effective communication and overall computer skills as required for the position

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance training and guidance to site-based staff and students for hardware and software issues
• Ensure a stable digital learning environment at the site by collaborating with customers and district support staff
• Assist with or ensure adherence to district network security standards
• Coordinate with vendors for the acquisition of hardware and software
• Assist with installation of approved hardware and software
• Perform basic troubleshooting for technology issues and minor repairs
• Maintain accurate inventory of technology assets at the site
• Collaborate with the technology team to integrate systems into the digital learning environment
• Follow safety rules and School Board policies
