Job summary

Austin Commercial is seeking a Safety Representative for the Night Shift in Phoenix, AZ. This full-time role focuses on enforcing safety programs, reporting incidents, and supporting project teams to maintain high safety standards on site.

The role requires 3–6 years of safety experience, OSHA 30 certification, CPR/First Aid, and the ability to work overnight. You will engage with staff and subcontractors, conduct trainings, and help sustain a safe work environment at our Phoenix division.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years safety experience in construction industry.
• Current OSHA 30, CPR and First Aid training/certification.
• Ability to work overnight.
• Sufficient knowledge of construction processes and procedures.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to have crucial conversations.
• Thoroughness and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Builds working relationships with project staff and subcontractor safety representatives.
• Enforces safety programs and related policies and procedures.
• Creates accurate safety reports and accident investigation documents.
• Provides and participates in staff safety training and subcontractor development.
• Attends seminars, lectures and training classes to maintain all applicable certifications in safety-related subjects.
• Other duties as assigned.
