Austin Commercial has an outstanding opportunity for a Recruiter to support our Phoenix, Arizona Division. Our recruiter will oversee the full-cycle recruiting process for professional salaried positions for assigned requisitions.

Key skills include sourcing, screening, and selecting talent, conducting interviews, assessing qualifications, and making hiring recommendations. Responsibilities

• Manages full-cycle recruiting for all corporate and operations positions including Project Managers, Superintendents, Estimators, Schedulers, and Field Engineers
• Partners closely with leadership and hiring managers to develop a deep understanding of workforce needs, role requirements, and measures of success, enabling targeted and effective recruitment strategies
• Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization
• Utilizes knowledge of multiple recruiting outlets, such as social media and job boards, and sourcing techniques to identify and engage talented individuals
• Determines through screening and experience which individuals are the best technical and cultural fit for our company across the U.S.
• Strives to provide an overall positive candidate experience and developing strategies and processes to do so
• Collaborate with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff to support interview, evaluation and offer process
• Tracks recruiting metrics and data to develop strategies to improve the process
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies
• Maintains and develops relationships with new hires for current and future positions and effectively conveys the role-specific requirements and success measures while demonstrating a solid understanding of the General Contracting/Construction industry roles and duties.
• Reviews, executes and manages third party vendor contracts; ensures services rendered align
• Attend various recruiting fairs and events as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Have 2-5 years of sourcing/recruiting experience within the Architecture, Engineering or Construction industries, staffing agency recruitment experience is preferred
• Knowledgeable in Boolean search techniques; AIRS training/certification is a plus
• Proven success in managing a full-cycle recruiting process
• Experience partnering with leadership teams and guiding hiring decisions
• Have the ability to implement new, innovative methods for sourcing talent
• Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Have strong attention to detail and accuracy while managing multiple priorities under stress
• Must be able to work under pressure, to multi-task, and meet deadlines
• Intermediate to advanced skills in the Microsoft Office suite such as Word, Excel, Outlook

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience may substitute. Preferred experience in the General Contracting or Construction industry.
• Proficient in using ATS such as UKG/Ultipro, job boards, and other recruitment tools to identify top talent
• Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment
• Occasional day and overnight travel will be required for this role for recruitment fairs and events
