leadership to implement standards across the operation. This role requires 7 years of EHS and FSQA experience, a strong track record in risk management, and certifications such as HACCP/PCQI/CSP.

Qualifications

• 7 years of EHS and FSQA experience in a food distribution or manufacturing environment.
• 24 hours of formal safety training each year for the past five years.
• Knowledge of innovations in risk management, contingency planning and contingency execution.
• Experience with accident investigations, including auditing and monitoring procedures.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to communicate in English effectively (reading, writing, speaking).

Responsibilities

• Lead safety, quality and compliance at a large-scale food service distribution center operation and in-house fleet.
• Implement, manage, and improve FSQA, EHS, and security operations.
• Evaluate and mitigate risks at the DC and establish contingency plans.
• Serve as DC expert in HACCP, MHE certifications, stock recovery and sustainability.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, DOT, FMCSA, OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Lead contingency planning for recalls, withdrawals, disasters, etc.
• Deliver FSQA, EHS, and Security training to team members and leaders.
• Perform KPI reporting and oversight (e.g., OSHA 300).
• Lead incident investigations and behavioral observations at the DC.
• Coordinate inspections and liaise with CFA entities and contractors.
• Oversee quality checks on received product and recalls/withdrawals liaison.
• Support DC innovation and future facility openings; onboarding support.
• Complete other valuable activities as directed.
