Job summary

Atlanta Airlines Terminal Company, LLC (AATC) seeks a Safety Coordinator to lead our safety program, ensuring compliance with OSHA and related standards. You will collaborate across departments to build a proactive safety culture and minimize hazards.

The role requires developing policies, maintaining safety handbooks, and training staff. The position starts with day shifts for orientation, transitioning to overnight coverage for 3rd shift, located in Atlanta, GA.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required with 3+ years in a dedicated safety role.
• Certifications such as OSHA, BCSP, CPR/First Aid are preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of safety regulations and safe work practices.
• Experience with OSHA record keeping, reporting and MOP writing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Create, implement and manage an on-going safety program.
• Promote a culture of safety consciousness and awareness throughout the organization.
• Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to applicable regulations and standards.
• Develop, implement and maintain a safety policy handbook.
• Provide progress reports on safety activities, safety reports, and safety studies.
• Ensure records of occupational injuries and illnesses are maintained and reported as required by OSHA standards.
• Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of hazard control systems and recommend improvements.
• Compile, analyze, interpret and report accident/injury data using RCA techniques.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and provide corrective action.
• Ensure first aid/safety equipment is replenished including PPE.
• Collaborate with departments to support safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide training to staff and new hires on safety initiatives.
• Develop and implement compliance policies to ensure adherence to regulations.
• Conduct regular audits to identify non-compliance and develop corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance requirements are met.
• Organize safety awareness campaigns and activities to engage employees.
