Cleveland Electric Company in Atlanta is seeking a Safety Manager for the day shift at the Atlanta Airport to lead safety programs, policies, and training. The role focuses on reducing risk, ensuring OSHA compliance, and driving on-site safety initiatives.

Responsibilities include audits, incident management, and delivering safety orientation to employees with a focus on preventing injuries and maintaining a culture of safety across the site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of industrial construction experience.
• OSHA 30 and OSHA 510 certifications required.
• CHST certification required; CSP and OSHA 500 preferred.
• Strong leadership and public speaking abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable with multitasking and managing a department.
• Proficient with computers and basic office equipment.
• Knowledge of State & Local Codes, CFR 29 1926 & NFPA 70E.

Responsabilités

• Identify and mitigate hazards using the hierarchy of controls.
• Conduct frequent site tours, observe processes, correct safety deficiencies, coach employees.
• Involved in on-site lockout procedures.
• Complete comprehensive daily safety inspections with corrective actions.
• Perform monthly audits: Rigging, Fall Protection, Grounding, Temporary Power GFCI, ARC Flash PPE.
• Produce weekly toolbox topics relevant to jobsite activities.
• Deliver safety orientation and training sessions to employees.
• Injury case management.
