Coastal Talent Solutions is seeking a Safety Coordinator for airport construction in Atlanta, GA. You will support ongoing mechanical construction safety at ATL, working with the Senior Safety Manager to maintain a strong safety culture for active projects.

The role requires prior airport construction experience and OSHA 500 certification, with night shift through 2026 and a transition to day shift in 2027, coordinating with contractors and airport personnel.

Formación

• Previous construction experience at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is required.
• OSHA 500 certification is required.
• Construction safety experience on commercial, mechanical, aviation, infrastructure, or other complex projects.
• Comfortable working around active mechanical construction operations, multiple trades, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA construction safety requirements and industry best practices.

Responsabilidades

• Support the Senior Safety Manager with day-to-day construction safety activities throughout active airport projects.
• Perform regular field safety inspections and identify unsafe conditions, behaviors, and potential hazards.
• Monitor contractor and subcontractor compliance with project safety requirements, OSHA standards, and established safety procedures.
• Support safety activities associated with mechanical construction, including HVAC, piping, equipment installation, and related trades.
• Conduct and/or participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, orientations, and pre-task planning.
• Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs).
• Document observations, incidents, corrective actions, and safety-related field activities.
• Work directly with contractors and field personnel to address safety concerns before they become incidents.
• Assist with incident investigations and follow-up corrective actions when necessary.
• Coordinate closely with project management, airport representatives, contractors, and the Senior Safety Manager.
• Help maintain a proactive safety culture within a complex, occupied, and highly regulated airport environment.
