Job summary

Responsibilities

• Regularly inspects operations to ensure safe practices, PPE use, and guarding.
• Investigates accidents and near-misses; identifies trends and ensures corrective actions.
• Develops safety programs and incentives with management input.
• Conducts new hire safety training and ensures policy understanding.
• Provides training on safe operation of machinery and equipment.
• Chairs the Safety Committee.
• Maintains OSHA 300 log and required reports.
• Coordinates regulatory inspections and audits.
