Job summary

Prairie Land Electric is seeking a Manager of Safety to lead our comprehensive safety program, apprenticeship efforts, and workplace compliance. You will partner with leadership and operations to foster a proactive safety culture and ensure regulatory requirements are met.

Responsibilities include safety training, incident investigations, and corrective actions, with a focus on reducing risk to employees, members, and the public.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in electric utility operations, industrial safety, or risk management.
• Experience with safety program development and regulatory compliance.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and continuous improvement of the safety program and apprenticeship initiatives.
• Coordinate safety training, field observations, incidents, and corrective actions.
• Chair the Safety Committee and report to the CEO and Board.
