Safety Professional Short Term Medcor Safety a subsidiary of Medcor is a Safety Services company serving the Construction and General Industry The Safety Professional will be responsible for identifying safety hazards and communicating with site crews and management to mitigate these hazards The successful candidate must be a team player good communicator and knowledgeable of Federal State Local General Contractor and Owner Requirements governing the project

Project Location Sterling CO Pay 5000hour Anticipated Start Date September 14th Anticipated Duration 6 weeks Anticipated HoursWeek 50 58 Project Type Construction well drilling excavation electrical utility installation overseeing 12 15 people Per Diem 98000week

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Develop positive professional relationships while working closely with field personnel all levels of management and outside agencies during all phases of constructionCoordinate and conduct audits of all crews to identify areas for improvement of unsafe work conditions and practices and recognize those for safe work practicesDocument and communicate site audit informationAudit training records of all field personnelImplement all federal local and site programs policies and proceduresReceive review and participate with the development of accident briefs safety related publications bulletins and reportsParticipate with the development of Site Specific Safety Plans and kick offsafety meetingsReview clientowner specific requirements and determine our client complies
MINIMUM EDUCATIONEXPERIENCE
  • Current CPR First Aid Card RequiredOSHA 30 Hour Construction RequiredCHST Required5 Years Relevant safety experience required
COMPUTER SKILLS
  • Ability to perform basic word processing and generate spreadsheets as necessary Also access and use the Internet and E mail
