Job summary

Medcor is seeking a Safety Professional for a short-term, on-site role in Kemmerer, WY. The position supports construction and general industry with a 50-hour work week and a two-month duration, starting August 17th.

Responsibilities include coordinating safety audits, communicating hazards, and developing Site Specific Safety Plans with kickoff meetings. Per diem includes a furnished apartment plus 55 per day for meals.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to communicate safety concepts clearly to field personnel and management.

• Develop Site Specific Safety Plans and conduct kickoff safety meetings.
• Review client/owner requirements to ensure compliance.

Safety Professional Short Term Medcor Safety a subsidiary of Medcor is a Safety Services company serving the Construction and General Industry The Safety Professional will be responsible for identifying safety hazards and communicating with site crews and management to mitigate these hazards The successful candidate must be a team player good communicator and knowledgeable of Federal State Local General Contractor and Owner Requirements governing the project

• Per Diem Client provided furnished apartment plus 5500day for meals

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Develop positive professional relationships while working closely with field personnel all levels of management and outside agencies during all phases of construction
• Coordinate and conduct audits of all crews to identify areas for improvement of unsafe work conditions and practices and recognize those for safe work practices
• Document and communicate site audit information
• Audit training records of all field personnel
• Implement all federal local and site programs policies and procedures
• Receive review and participate with the development of accident briefs safety related publications bulletins and reports
• Participate with the development of Site Specific Safety Plans and kick offsafety meetings
• Review clientowner specific requirements and determine our client complies

MINIMUM EDUCATION

• Experience Current CPR First Aid Card Required
• OSHA 30 Hour Construction Required
• CHST OSHA 500 Preferred
• Relevant safety experience required

COMPUTER SKILLS

Ability to perform basic word processing and generate spreadsheets as necessary Also access and use the Internet and E mail
