Job summary

Seaboard Energy in Guymon, OK is seeking a Safety & Operational Excellence Coordinator to support OMS implementation at the St. Joseph facility. You will help maintain training programs, SOP updates, and incident investigations to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

The role collaborates with Engineering, Reliability, and Safety teams to drive safe, reliable operations, continuous improvement, and strong document control across process safety information and related systems.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years of refinery operations experience.
• Demonstrated leadership ability with a team orientation.
• Field experience in plant operations and maintenance is required.
• Ability to read and write reports, spreadsheets, and business correspondence using MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of the Operations Management System by ensuring personnel understand and follow defined roles and responsibilities.
• Develop and maintain procedures, practices, and training programs for plant operations, logistics, and maintenance.
• Coach and support plant personnel in safe, reliable, and efficient operation and maintenance practices.
• Assist in establishing and reinforcing disciplined operations through SOPs, policies, and training.
• Participate in risk identification and mitigation activities, including PHAs, MOC, and JSAs.
• Maintain and support document control for process safety information and related systems.
• Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis, support corrective actions.
• Partner with Safety & Operational Risk Manager to support emergency preparedness activities, including training and drills.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Reliability teams to support the integrity and performance of plant assets.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance safety, reliability, and production performance.
• Support compliance with all federal and state safety and environmental regulations with leadership and direction.
