Job summary

King & George in Oklahoma City is seeking an Environmental / Safety Management Specialist to ensure training, reporting, and compliance with federal, state, and local requirements. You will develop, manage, and report on quality and safety programs and host safety education events for employees.

The role covers safety and environmental surveys, accident investigations, and coordination with managers to maintain safe operations at the MMAC site in Oklahoma City, OK.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or multiple related certifications preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience in safety and environmental management.
• Working knowledge of health and safety laws and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and coordinate safety training programs.
• Conduct safety and environmental surveys and prepare reports with findings and recommendations.
• Investigate accidents and identify hazards for corrective actions.
• Assist managers in documenting injuries, safety violations, and unsafe conditions.
• Oversee hazardous working conditions and ensure compliance with safety policies.
• Develop and report on quality and safety programs and plans.
• Prepare and present reports on accidents and violations and determine causes.
