Job summary

ESFM is seeking an onsite Safety Manufacturing Manager in Florence, KY. You will reduce claims and lost time injuries by providing safety and workers’ compensation support, including training, site visits, policy implementation, measurement, and compliance with client requirements.

The role requires travel up to 40%, strong OSHA knowledge, and the ability to develop and monitor effective safety programs across local units.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing occupational health and safety programs.
• Ability to conduct investigations and evaluations; assess cost and risk factors.
• Excellent presentation and written communication skills.
• Strong ability to travel up to 40% and collaborate with internal/external partners.

Responsibilities

• Travel up to 40% as required.
• Ensure facilities comply with OSHA and relevant standards.
• Maintain ongoing safety awareness programs.
• Administer loss prevention and control programs with site teams.
• Provide safety training to managers and staff.
• Deliver monthly status reports to local management.
• Follow OSHA, DOT, EPA regulations and client policies.
• Inspect workplaces to identify hazards and mitigate risks.
• Participate in safety issue resolutions and hazard mitigation.
• Track injury data and advise on prevention strategies.
• Train management on investigation and inspection methods.
