Job summary

ESFM, the Compass Group USA facilities management division, is seeking a Safety Manufacturing Manager to reduce injuries by providing safety and workers’ compensation support to local units. The position is onsite in Florence, KY and involves training, site visits, policy implementation, measurement, and client compliance through regular meetings and on-site visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred But Not Required.
• Experience in implementing a variety of occupational health and safety programs.
• Ability to conduct investigations and evaluations and evaluating cost and risk factors. Ability to interpret and apply a variety of laws, rules and regulations.
• Excellent presentation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high volume environment.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 40%
• Ability to work well with internal and external business partners.

Responsibilities

• Travel up to 40% is required.
• Ensure OSHA and other standards compliance via facility inspections.
• Maintain safety awareness programs to promote a safe work environment.
• Provide training to managers on safe work practices.
• Prepare monthly status reports for local management.
• Monitor workers’ compensation claim trends and develop strategies.
• Coordinate return-to-work for injured employees.
• Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments.
