ESFM is hiring a Safety Manufacturing Manager to reduce claims and lost time injuries by delivering safety and workers’ compensation support to local units. Responsibilities include training, site visits, policy implementation, and ongoing safety communications to ensure client requirements are met.

The role requires travel up to 40% and compliance with OSHA and client safety programs, with oversight of loss prevention and investigation processes.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing occupational health and safety programs.
• Ability to conduct investigations and evaluate cost and risk factors.
• Ability to interpret and apply laws, rules and regulations.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel up to 40% as required.
• Ensure facilities comply with OSHA and other safety standards.
• Provide safety and workers' compensation support to local units.
• Train managers to follow safe work practices and maintain a safe environment.
• Prepare monthly safety status reports for local management.
• Monitor workers' compensation claim trends and return-to-work processes.
