Job summary

Kiewit Power Constructors District is seeking a Mid Level Safety professional to develop and implement safety plans for power generation projects. You will ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies on diverse sites.

You will lead training, conduct incident investigations, monitor performance with KPIs, and advise project teams on best practices. Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field and 3+ years in heavy industrial or solar projects are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree or work experience in health and safety.
• 3+ years of experience in heavy industrial and/or solar projects.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Knowledge of construction safety standards and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive safety plans and procedures for power generation projects.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and assess risks.
• Lead investigations into safety incidents, near misses and accidents.
• Stay informed about changes in safety regulations and coordinate inspections and audits.
• Establish KPIs to measure safety performance and provide regular safety reports.
