Job summary

Manhattan Construction is seeking a Safety Manager 1 to enforce safety, health, and environmental policies on our construction projects in Dallas. This role leads, directs, and supports safety practices to identify and control hazards and ensure a safe work environment.

Ideal candidates will have a 4-year degree or relevant safety experience, 5+ years in the field, and OSHA training. The position offers growth, competitive pay, and a strong safety culture within a financially solid company.

Qualifications

• 4-year bachelor's degree or relevant safety experience.
• Board of Certified Safety Professional STS(C) and/or CHST or equivalent.
• 5+ years of industry experience.
• First aid & CPR certified instructor.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety, health, and environmental policies on construction projects.
• Lead safety training and incident investigations.
• Ensure compliance with 29 CFR 1926 and 1910 OSHA standards and other regulatory requirements.
• Mentor assigned Safety Engineers and coordinate with regional safety staff.
• Maintain safety files and records and promote a culture of safety.
