Job summary

Manhattan Construction Company is seeking a Senior Safety Manager to enforce safety, health, and environmental policies across construction projects. The role leads safety practices, identifies hazards, and implements corrective actions to prevent injuries and property damage using industry standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• 4-year bachelor’s degree or relevant safety experience.
• Board of Certified Safety Professional CHST, ASP, CSP or equivalent.
• 15 years of industry safety experience.
• First aid & CPR certified instructor.

Responsibilities

• Lead incident investigation & reporting.
• Develop & conduct staff & craft safety orientation training for the project.
• Provide mentorship and development to assigned Safety Managers.
• Document all incidents, safety violations, and unsafe conditions/activities for projects.
• Advise safety directors on compliance concerns and preventative actions.
• Maintain safety files and records for multiple projects.
• Lead coordination with regional safety personnel on updates and events.
• Conduct in-house safety training courses for projects.
