Job summary

Talently is seeking a Safety Manager to lead on-site safety for electrical installation and commissioning projects. You will partner with corporate safety leadership, project teams, and subcontractors to foster a proactive safety culture across demanding environments.

The role requires 5+ years of safety management experience, CHST/STSC/ASP credentials, deep OSHA/NFPA 70E knowledge, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in safety management in electrical/construction settings.
• Advanced credentials CHST/STSC/ASP or equivalent.
• Extensive knowledge of OSHA regs, NFPA 70E.
• Experience creating site safety plans, inspections and hazard assessments.
• Lead incident investigations, safety training, subcontractor coordination.
• Strong communication and problem-solving; ability to influence teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site safety programs and ensure OSHA/NFPA compliance.
• Develop and update site safety plans for installation/commissioning.
• Conduct inspections, audits, hazard assessments; track corrective actions.
• Identify hazards and implement risk mitigation; LOTO, PPE, fall protection.
• Deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and job hazard analyses.
• Investigate incidents/near misses; report findings to leadership.
• Coordinate subcontractor safety oversight and emergency response planning.
• Provide regular safety updates and maintain compliance documentation.
