Job summary

Thayer Power & Communication Line Construction Co., LLC (TPC) is seeking a Safety Manager to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and codes. The role oversees OSHA recordkeeping, training, and implementation of safety protocols on job sites.

The candidate will develop safety programs, conduct inspections, and liaise with clients and vendors to maintain safety parameters. A Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in utilities or construction safety are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is required.
• Experience in utilities or construction safety roles preferred (5+ years).
• Knowledge of federal and state safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and codes.
• Manage OSHA recordkeeping, reporting, and employee training requirements.
• Develop, organize, and implement safety training programs for employees.
• Coordinate safety equipment purchases and hazard controls.
• Conduct onsite safety inspections and write detailed incident reports.
