Job summary

The Parking Spot is hiring a Safety Manager to lead safety policy design, program development, and OSHA compliance across our near-airport locations. You will drive KPI based safety initiatives, audits, and training to reduce incidents while supporting a strong safety culture.

Responsibilities include supervising safety programs, investigating accidents, and leveraging Origami Risk to track and improve safety performance. Travel may be required as part of site audits and field leadership support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in safety management, safety engineering, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in safety, EHS or a closely related field.
  • Experience administering an EHS software system (Origami Risk, Velocity EHS, etc.) preferred, but not required.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and applicable federal and state regulations.
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong Excel skills for KPI reporting.
  • Willingness to travel as required by situational circumstances.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement safety programs and procedures to reduce accidents and claims for the Company.
  • Lead the continuous improvement of Origami, our new Company-wide EHS software system.
  • Analyze accident/injury/incident reports and help investigations to identify causes and preventive measures.
  • Investigate injury claims.
  • Develop and track safety-related KPIs to identify trends and promote a culture of safety.
  • Create and enforce internal and external safety audit programs, including audits at TPS properties.
  • Advise Field leadership on safety best practices and maintain OSHA-compliant policies.
  • Handle OSHA inspections, reports, posters, citations, and hearings as needed.
  • Compile safety KPI tracking for management and produce safety reports.
  • Recommend corrective actions to management on safety and health issues.
  • Support casualty claims programs by directing investigations and assessing liability.

The Safety Manager at The Parking Spot will spearhead the development and implementation of policies and systems that improve safety performance and foster a strong culture of safety. This role oversees all aspects of employee, customer, and visitor safety, including workers' compensation administration. Key responsibilities include data analysis and planning, developing safety programs, monitoring and evaluating safety claims, conducting safety training and coaching, and auditing programs for continuous improvement and to enhance safety awareness and compliance.Key Responsibilities:Design and implement safety programs and procedures to reduce accidents and claims for the CompanyLead the continuous improvement of Origami, our new Company-wide EHS software systemAnalyze all accident/injury/incident reporting and help perform investigations to identify cause and possible preventive measures for future work of a similar natureInvestigate injury claimsDevelop and track safety-related KPIs to identify trends, drive accountability and promote a culture of safetyCreate and enforce internal and external safety audit programs, including conducting safety audits at TPS propertiesAdvise and support Field leadership, management and staff on safety best practicesMaintain the Company’s safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulationsHandle all OSHA related issues such as inspections, yearly reports, job site posters, citations, hearings, etc. Compile safety KPI tracking for management.
