Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Safety and Loss Prevention professional to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and FDA regulations while maintaining a safe environment across facilities. You will conduct drills, investigate incidents, and educate team members.

This role requires strong communication, shift flexibility, and the ability to lead training sessions on safety and powered equipment operation. A background in security or military is beneficial and a commitment to safeguarding people and property.

Qualifications

• Experience in Loss Prevention, Security or Military background is beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Working knowledge to meet compliance requirements of Federal and State policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines.
• Flexibility in performing assigned shift work.
• Conducts internal/external theft investigations.
• Ability to lead and teach safety-related classes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hazardous emergency evacuation drills including tornado and fire drills.
• Accountable for 200% Safety – Self and Others.
