Job summary

Meijer Inc. seeks a Safety/Loss Prevention role focused on regulatory compliance and incident prevention. You will coordinate emergency drills and enforce safety protocols across locations, ensuring adherence to OSHA, EPA, and FDA standards.

Ideal candidates bring experience in Loss Prevention or security, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead safety trainings and investigations while adapting to shift work.

Qualifications

• Experience in regulatory compliance with OSHA, EPA and FDA standards.
• Experience in Loss Prevention, Security or Military background is beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to perform shift work and conduct theft investigations.
• Ability to lead safety trainings and safety class instruction.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hazardous emergency evacuation drills including tornado and fire drills.
• Accountable for 200% Safety – Self and Others.
