Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Loss Prevention/Safety professional to enforce regulatory compliance and lead safety programs. You will conduct drills, investigate incidents, and train team members on safety policies and equipment operation.

The role emphasizes strong communication, flexibility in shifts, and commitment to a safe work environment across our Michigan operations. Prior security or military-like experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with Federal and State policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines.
• Background in Loss Prevention, Security or Military is beneficial.
• Excellent written and verbal communication required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hazardous emergency evacuation drills including tornado and fire drills.
• Accountable for 200% Safety – Self and Others.
• Lead and teach safety-related classes, orientation, and powered equipment operation.
