Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Loss Prevention professional focused on safety and regulatory compliance within our Michigan operations.

You will conduct hazardous emergency evacuation drills, enforce safety policies, investigate internal/external theft, and lead safety classes for staff.

Flexibility in shifts and strong communication are required; a background in security or military is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in Loss Prevention, Security or Military background is beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Working knowledge to meet compliance requirements of Federal and State policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines.
• Flexibility in performing assigned shift work.
• Conducts internal/external theft investigations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hazardous emergency evacuation drills including tornado and fire drills.
