Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a dedicated Loss Prevention Specialist to help safeguard people and assets across our Michigan stores. You will support safety programs, regulatory compliance, and community stewardship.

This role requires conducting emergency evacuation drills, leading safety training, investigating theft incidents, and teaching classes on safety, orientation, and powered equipment operation. The position involves rotating shifts and collaborating with store teams to uphold Meijer’s

Qualifications

• Experience in Loss Prevention, Security or Military background is beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Working knowledge to meet compliance requirements of Federal and State policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines.
• Flexibility in performing assigned shift work.
• Conducts internal/external theft investigations.
• Ability to lead and teach classes related to safety, orientation and powered equipment operation.

Responsibilities
