Job summary

Freeberg Industrial Fabrication in Eloy, AZ is seeking a Safety Manager to develop and implement safety policies across shop operations, including painting booths and hazardous areas, ensuring OSHA compliance and a proactive safety culture.

You will lead safety training, inspections, incident investigations, PPE programs, and record-keeping, and collaborate with plant leadership to integrate safety into production while maintaining a safe, compliant manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• CSP or OSHA certifications desirable.
• Minimum 5 years of safety management experience in manufacturing or metal fabrication.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, NFPA codes, and ANSI standards.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and training skills.
• Ability to analyze reports, identify hazards, and implement proactive solutions.
• Hands-on experience with risk assessments and safety audits in industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies for shop and facility areas.
• Conduct safety inspections and audits for OSHA/EPA compliance.
• Lead incident investigations and root-cause analyses.
• Design and deliver PPE, lockout/tagout, and machine-safety training.
• Monitor adherence and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain safety records and regulatory documentation.
• Collaborate with supervisors to integrate safety into production planning.
