Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is offering a Safety Internship Program for Summer 2027 across multiple locations, including Huntsville, AL. The 12-week program provides meaningful real-work experience in safety, health, and environmental functions, and includes mentoring and career networking to prepare you for a career in Georgia-Pacific safety leadership.

As an intern, you will work with experienced EH&S professionals, support incident investigations and safety inspections, and learn to streamline processes

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a relevant degree or program.
• Ability to relocate as required by the program.
• Eligible for full-time employment by Summer 2028.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support safety activities including incident investigations and safety inspections.
• Assist with safety process improvements and field observations.
• Collaborate with EH&S professionals to apply classroom learnings to real manufacturing sites.
