Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking Safety Interns for Summer 2027 at multiple nationwide locations. The 12‑week internship provides meaningful real‑world EH&S experience, exposing interns to products GP manufactures and the diverse safety functions of a manufacturing site.

Interns will engage with experienced EH&S professionals, participate in incident investigations and safety inspections, and learn how to support safe work practices and emergency response while exploring Principle Based Management and

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a degree or alternative program and eligible for full‑time employment on or before Summer 2028.
• Relocation ability as required by the program.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Experience or interest in safety and environmental disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Interact with EH&S professionals to connect classroom learnings to a real manufacturing site.
• Assist in streamlining safety processes and procedures.
• Participate in incident investigations, chemical monitoring, or safety inspections.
• Support safe work practices, emergency response, and injury‑free operations initiatives.
• Contribute to the company’s Principle Based Management approach.
