Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking Safety Interns for a 12-week summer program in 2027 at multiple nationwide locations. Interns will gain exposure to product safety, health, and environmental disciplines and participate in mentoring and career networking events.

Responsibilities include assisting EH&S professionals, supporting incident investigations, and learning Principle Based Management in a manufacturing context. This program runs across several GP sites, including Rincon, GA and other locations.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a degree or alternative program; relocation may be required.
• Ability to relocate per program requirements.
• Eligible for full-time employment on or before Summer 2028.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Interact with EH&S professionals to connect classroom learnings to a real manufacturing site.
• Streamline safety processes and procedures.
• Participate in incident investigations, chemical monitoring, or safety inspections.
• Gain experience in safe work practices and emergency response.
