Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC seeks Safety Interns for a 12-week Summer 2027 program across multiple nationwide locations. Interns gain hands-on experience in safety, health, and environmental disciplines at manufacturing sites, under the guidance of experienced EH&S professionals.

The program includes mentoring, networking events, and focused development. Participants will engage in incident investigations, safety inspections, and process safety activities while learning Principle Based Management.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a degree or alternative program (e.g., technical college, certificate, upskilling).
• Ability to relocate per program requirements.
• Eligible for full-time employment on or before Summer 2028.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Interact with EH&S professionals to connect classroom learnings to real-world manufacturing site work.
• Streamline safety processes and procedures.
• Participate in incident investigations, chemical monitoring, or safety inspections.
• Gain experience in safe work practices, emergency response, and injury-free operations.
• Understand, develop, and apply Principle Based Management.
