Job summary

Goodfellow Bros Inc. is seeking a Safety Intern for a 12-week summer program at multiple Hawaii Island locations, including Kapolei, HI. The role offers hands-on exposure to safety programs under supervision of a Regional Safety Manager and Director of Safety.

You will assist with safety operations, conduct risk assessments, and learn core safety processes in a real-world construction setting across the Hawaiian Islands.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have the legal right to work in the US without employer sponsorship.
• Must be currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in safety, business, or related major, from an accredited university.
• Travel may be required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Reporting and tracking of orientations, training, audits, incident reports, and other related documents.
• Assist in reporting incidents/accidents, investigations, root cause analysis and submitting reports as required.
• Liaise with safety personnel for investigations, medical and various other reports.
• Coordinate safety events as directed by the safety manager or division president.
• Support staff in assigned project-based work.
• Support published corporate policies.
