Job summary

Goodfellow Bros Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer Intern for Summer 2027 in Waikoloa, Hawaii. Under supervision, you will assist with construction-related duties, plan checking, and quality control, gaining hands-on experience on a west-coast and Hawaii-based contractor.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in construction management or civil engineering, with a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel. The role is based on-site in Waikoloa, HI.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related major from an accredited university.
• Must have legal right to work in the US without employer sponsorship.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager/Engineers/Estimators with construction-related duties.
• Track work hour utilization and productivity.
• Maintain file of material suppliers, labor laws, equipment rates, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate material delivery and subcontract work with progress schedule.
• Prepare data for monthly invoices and job cost reports.
• Review timecards and communicate discrepancies to payroll.
