Job summary

Goodfellow Bros. invites an Engineering Intern to join the Kihei, HI team for summer 2027. Under supervision, you will assist with layout, form design, subcontract monitoring, change orders, plan checks, and safety monitoring, gaining hands-on field exposure on Maui.

The role supports cost reporting, submittal processing, and daily clerical tasks while building practical construction knowledge under a Project Engineer or Estimator.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related major.
• Legal right to work in the US without employer sponsorship.
• Travel may be required.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager/Project Engineers/Estimators with construction-related duties.
• Track work hour utilization and productivity.
• Maintain file/library of material suppliers, labor laws, and subcontractors by category.
• Coordinate material deliveries and subcontract work with progress schedule.
