Job summary

Goodfellow Bros Inc in Kihei, Maui, HI seeks a Project Engineer Intern for Summer 2027. Under supervision of a Project Engineer, you will assist with construction-related duties including layout, form design, change orders, plan checking, document control and safety monitoring.

This internship provides hands-on learning and exposure to subcontract coordination, cost tracking, and on-site project support in a trusted heavy-civil setting.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related major from an accredited university.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager/Project Engineers/Estimators with construction-related duties and perform a variety of physical and mental tasks on projects.
• Track work hour utilization and productivity.
• Maintain file libraries of material suppliers, current labor laws, equipment rental rates, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate material deliveries and subcontract work as progress requires.
• Prepare data for monthly invoices and job cost reports.
