Job summary

McGraw Kokosing, a leading industrial maintenance contractor based in Middletown, OH, seeks a Safety Education and Training Specialist to develop, implement, and deliver safety training aligned with the Company's Safety and Health Management System. You will ensure content is current across locations and support operations with effective educational materials and programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety and health or equivalent combinations of technical training and experience.
• 3 to 10+ years of experience with safety and health in the construction industry preferred.
• Experience developing training materials and delivering safety education.

Responsibilities

• New Hire and Site Safety Orientation: onboarding for new team members including drug testing and safety content delivery.
• Training Program Management: deliver safety training via in-person, online, or blended formats.
• Educational Materials and Correspondence: develop manuals, guides, presentations, Safety Talks, and handouts to support operations managers and team members.
• Evaluation of Education and Training: measure learning outcomes and gather feedback to improve content.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: maintain training records and generate reports on effectiveness.
• Training Delivery: facilitate on-site and online safety training.
• Risk Identification and Mitigation: integrate risk mitigation into training programs.
• Operational Coordination: develop content with Safety leadership and project teams.
• Technology Integration: use MS Office and multimedia to enhance learning.
