Job summary

McGraw Kokosing seeks a Safety Education and Training Specialist to develop, implement, and deliver safety education and training materials, ensuring team members are educated on the Company Safety and Health Management System. This role will support onboarding for new hires, coordinate training programs, and create manuals and talks for diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety and health or equivalent combinations of technical training and experience.
• 3 to 10+ years of experience with safety and health in the construction industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and roll out safety education and training content to align with Company practices.
• Coordinate onboarding for new team members, including drug testing and safety orientation content delivery.
• Execute safety training and educational content tailored to projects and locations; use various teaching formats.
• Evaluate learning outcomes with Safety leadership and operations management to improve programs.
• Maintain documentation of trainings, attendance, evaluations, and participant feedback.
• Deliver on-site safety training and online learning.
• Identify and mitigate risks, integrating safety programs with operations.
• Collaborate with leadership and subject matter experts to develop content for specialized training needs.
• Utilize MS Office and multimedia tools to enhance learning materials.
