Job summary

McGraw Kokosing is seeking a Safety Education and Training Specialist in Ohio to develop, implement, and deliver safety education and training materials aligned with our Safety and Health Management System. You will create content, lead onboarding, and ensure certifications for project teams across locations.

Responsibilities include managing safety training programs, delivering on-site and online sessions, analyzing learning outcomes, and collaborating with Safety leadership and operations to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety and health or equivalent
• Proven ability to design and deliver safety training programs
• Experience with OSHA/DOT/EPA regulations and other safety policies
• Strong writing, presentation, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• New Hire and Site Safety Orientation: onboard new team members including drug testing and Workday info collection.
• Training Program Management: deliver safety training using interactive, video, or hands-on methods.
• Educational Materials and Correspondence: create manuals, guides, slides, Safety Talks, and handouts.
• Evaluation of Education and Training: measure learning outcomes and gather feedback to improve programs.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: maintain training documentation and generate reports on training effectiveness.
• Training Delivery: conduct on-site and online safety sessions.
• Risk Identification and Mitigation: integrate risk strategies into training content.
• Operational Coordination: develop content with Safety leadership and site managers.
• Technology Integration: use MS Office tools to enhance training materials.
