Job summary

McGraw Kokosing is seeking a Safety Education and Training Specialist to develop, implement, and deliver safety education and training materials for teams across projects. You will create content aligned with our Safety and Health Management System and deliver both on-site and online training.

The role requires strong writing, presentation, and data analysis skills, plus experience coordinating with safety leadership and operations to meet training requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety and health or equivalent.
• 3–10+ years safety/health in construction preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, EPA regs and safety policies.
• Proficient in developing training materials and online learning.

Responsibilities

• New Hire and Site Safety Orientation for onboarding and safety content delivery.
• Training Program Management using interactive, video, hands-on methods.
• Develop manuals, guides, presentations, safety talks, and handouts.
• Evaluate training effectiveness with leadership to improve programs.
• Maintain training records, attendance, materials, evaluations, feedback.
• Deliver on-site and online safety training; contribute to risk mitigation.
• Coordinate with Safety leadership and operations to develop content.
• Utilize MS Office and multimedia tools to enhance learning.
