Job summary

Railserve, a unit within Marmon Holdings, is seeking a Site Leader to oversee in-plant rail operations across our U.S. facilities. You will lead teams, uphold safety standards, and drive efficient, customer-focused service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year of supervisory experience in rail operations, logistics, or a related field.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, operational environment.
• Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal).
• Ability to interpret safety rules, operating procedures, and technical documents.
• Basic math skills including ratios, percentages, and data interpretation.
• Ability to solve problems and make sound operational decisions.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Military experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe work environment by training employees on safety protocols and operational procedures.
• Foster a culture of safety and compliance while maintaining certifications and safety standards.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members, identifying high performers for advancement.
• Manage scheduling to ensure proper staffing and skill coverage across shifts.
• Coordinate daily operations to meet customer expectations and contract requirements.
• Oversee cost management including payroll, fuel, and equipment expenses.
• Maintain and support preventive maintenance programs in coordination with mechanical teams.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication and service delivery.
• Perform administrative duties including timekeeping, reporting, and performance evaluations.
• Supervise employees in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support efficient operations.
