Job summary

Railserve is seeking a Site Leader to oversee daily rail operations at industrial facilities in the United States. You will lead teams, develop employees, and build customer relationships while ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant work.

The role is full-time with scheduling varying by site and requires strong leadership and safety focus. You will manage staffing, oversee cost considerations, and coordinate with maintenance to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year of supervisory experience in rail operations or logistics.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to pass drug screen, physical and background check.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support in-plant rail operations such as railcar switching and maintenance.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members; identify high performers for advancement.
• Coordinate daily operations to meet customer expectations and contracts.
• Manage staffing schedules and skill coverage across shifts.
• Maintain safety protocols and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Perform timekeeping, reporting and performance evaluations.
• Build strong customer relationships through proactive communication.
