FedEx in Orlando seeks a proactive Operations Supervisor to champion the Safety Above All culture while managing day-to-day package sortation operations and staff. You will oversee hiring, coaching, training, and performance management to ensure safe, efficient workflows.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and a commitment to safety. You will mentor staff, drive improvements, and ensure FXG policies and government regulations are followed in a fast‑paced environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Six months experience in package handling or supervisory roles; military experience or related certification acceptable.
• Ability to inspire a shared vision and motivate a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to present to various audience sizes.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee hiring, coaching, training, recognition, performance evaluation and staff productivity.
• Direct daily operations and assign staff to ensure safe and efficient sortation of packages.
• Analyze performance metrics and drive action plans to improve key results.
• Lead daily meetings to communicate updates and goals with staff and larger audiences.
• Ensure compliance with FXG policies, safety programs, and training requirements.
• Mentor and develop junior operations supervisors and staff.
• Address customer service issues and escalate as needed.
