Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead frontline staff in safe, efficient package sortation and daily operations. You will hire, coach, train, and evaluate employees while ensuring compliance with FXG policies and regulatory requirements.

You will guide daily team meetings, analyze performance data, and drive continuous improvement in key metrics. This is a full-time role with weekend work and potential travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Six months experience in package handler or supervisory roles or related areas.
• In lieu of experience, certification program or college coursework may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a champion for FedEx's Safety Above All Culture and support related initiatives.
• Manage day-to-day operations and staff, including hiring, coaching and performance evaluation.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control daily operations to ensure safe and efficient sortation of packages.
• Assign and manage employees to optimize safety and cost efficiency in the facility.
• Lead meetings and communicate operational updates and goals to staff.
• Develop and administer safety and employee relations programs.
• Train new employees on job duties and FXG policies and safety requirements.
• Mentor and develop supervisory staff to handle critical skills.
