Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a frontline supervisor to uphold the Safety Above All Culture and to manage day-to-day operations and a designated staff. The role ensures safe and efficient package sortation and compliance with FXG policies and government regulations.

The position emphasizes coaching, performance management, and staff development while coordinating with linehaul and other departments to optimize operations and service quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• In lieu of experience, certification program or Associate’s Degree in related area or 2+ years of college courses towards a degree
• Bachelor's Degree (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, staffs, directs and controls specific day-to-day operations
• Responsible for assigning and managing employees to ensure safe and efficient sortation of packages
• Analyzes operational performance and determines opportunities for improvement of key metrics
• Leads daily employee and planning meetings for workforce communication and daily goals
• Mentors and develops critical skill sets for new and/or less-experienced Operations Supervisors
• Adapts quickly to change to meet dynamic business needs; leads employees in a positive and professional manner
• Performs other duties as assigned
