Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee frontline operations, ensuring safe and efficient package sortation and staff management within the FedEx Safety Above All culture.

The role includes hiring, coaching, training, performance management, and ensuring compliance with FXG policies and governmental regulations, while leading meetings and driving key performance improvements daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Six (6) months experience in a package handler or supervisory role or related experience.
• In lieu of experience, certification program or Associate's Degree or 2+ years of college toward a degree.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control day-to-day operations.
• Assign and manage employees to ensure safe and efficient sortation; control costs and quality.
• Lead daily meetings and communicate updates and daily goals to staff.
• Coach, mentor and develop staff; conduct performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with FXG policies, safety programs and training requirements.
