Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; degree preferred.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment with supervisory exposure.
• Military experience or supervisory experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a champion for FedEx's Safety Above All Culture and supports related initiatives.
• Manages day-to-day operations and staff including hiring, coaching, training, and performance evaluation.
• Plans and directs operations to ensure safe and efficient sortation of packages.
• Assigns and manages employees to optimize safety, cost, and quality; tracks trailers with linehaul coordination.
• Analyzes performance metrics and implements improvement plans.
• Leads daily meetings and communicates updates and goals to staff.
• Develops and administers safety and employee relations programs.
• Investigates and escalates customer service issues as appropriate.
• Trains new employees on duties, FXG policies, and compliance requirements.
